🌊✨ Introducing the “Jimmy Lee” ring, a heartfelt tribute to my daddy, the fifth store owner of Wright’s Jewelry! 💍
“If you are going to do something, do it 110% or don’t do it at all.” Those words have shaped my journey, and I often wonder if he regrets instilling such values in me now as business partners—haha!

This ring mirrors my dad’s incredible and continued life as a jeweler, man, husband, father, and Papa. His love for fishing and gardening has always intertwined with my childhood memories and his grandboys. From following his footprints in the garden, to lots of fishing adventures, to now listening to his garden irrigation system out my back door, those moments are precious reminders of my daddy.

As a perfectionist, just like him, every detail matters—and likewise in this ring. Over the past year, I’ve embraced custom designs using stones from our inventory. I discovered two stunning, certified colorless diamonds, just waiting for the right purpose. Instead of a standard 3-stone ring or diamond studs, I had a vision! During our last jewelry show, Koutney and I hand-selected a breathtaking teal sapphire to complement them, little did she know what I envisioned. I began sketching the design and the “Jimmy Lee” ring evolved.

The center of it all is the striking natural, unheated teal sapphire, a true rare and translucent gem reminiscent of the Caribbean and New Zealand crystal clear ocean waters. Now a surprise! Just like the shock you get when that fish jumps on the other end of the rod! I placed peek-a-boo diamonds in the center of my scroll W, symbolizing a fishing lure beneath crystal-clear waters of the sapphire. The light reflects from these 3 stones like the sun flickers across the rippling water. You can almost hear the sounds of the water and wildlife!

Lastly, every boat wave curl in the filigree sides tells a fishing story. Here is to the past, present, and future love for fishing, gardening, and family! The “Jimmy Lee” ring is perfect in every way—just like my daddy.
